Money Blowing in the Wind

I was an empty soul
My car was left by the side of the road
and I was walking as fast as I could
looking for something good

So the first thing I'll do
is come looking for you
but please promise to me
that you'll hide the key...

and lover tell me
when I'm lonely
you won't pick up the phone
because to hear your voice
knowing Ive got no choice
but to take the road back home
its like money blowing in the wind

I am a rough one, yes
scabs and sores beneath my clothes
who talk of things that no one knows
but you knew who I was

I'm like a restless bird
and it took so many miles
for me to get to you
but I know you know me better
than I do...

so lover tell me
when I'm lonely
you won't pick up the phone
because to hear your voice
knowing Ive got no choice
but to take the road back home
its like money blowing in the wind

The Most Welcoming Face

You came to earth, a battered child
Scraped and bruised and crying.
From the hospital bed, I felt you
And for you I escaped the beginning.

I was a yearning girl, so golden
Eyes amidst the angels,
With my heart so full of burning
To find you once again, completed.

In the crowd, you broken soul
So close to jumping downward.
Met hazel eyes a searching
And I found you, once again, completed.

Haiku Day

At dawns surprise
I awaken next to you
Hair a nest and yawning
